Typography Fundamental_CTT

CTT is means Communication Through Type..
Word plays an important role in our daily conversation.

It helps to communicate between one and other.

Word itself can't speak.

As a designer, in order to achieve the visual communication,

our task is to bring out the meaning and

accent of the word to the viewer and reader.

Therefore, when people first seen the word,
straight away they may understand the meaning of word

and get the impact visually...

This assignment had separate three part

First of all,

in CTT 1, we need to imagine ourselves as a movie director or singer,

we are planning on our lastest movie/album,

brainstorm a title for our movie/album,

and using typography to design the title,

and brings out its meaning and moods.

and my chosen title is.....OBSERVE...

Design Method Project 1

Here is my first project of Design Method ,

which is Visual Exploration & Expression.

First of all,

my chosen theme from the group mind-map is 'Mystery'.

What is 'Mystery'?

A mistery is something that is not understood or known about.

Tat's mean something cannot be explained la~

Then i chose three keywords from my 'Mystery' mind-map,

tat is..

-secret

each keyword will be developed into a series of THREE design execution.

1. illustration

2. Graphic

3. Digital Effect

-if something puzzles u, u do not understand it, and feel very confused.

Final outcome (illustration execution)

-i used water colour to paint it, and do some photoshop editing,

to adjust the colour and lighting effect.

-The slogan is 'Reformatting pieces puzzle of truth, rediscover the mystery'

-If u just have a piece of puzzle, u do not know how the image look like,

then u may be will feel very curious, strange or mystery on it. so u need to

reformatting all the puzzles, then u truely know the 'truth'...

-this is my graphic execution, i heard a slogan before, tat is 'The more you read,

the more knowledge you will get' but i hav an idea is "The more you find, the more

question you will get."

-so i used a simple stroke to create a man's head, and there are some arrows go

inside his brain, then a lot of question marks come out from his brain~

-when u get questions, u need to constantly to solve it, so i think it is a good circulate.

-the slogan of this artwork is 'Existance that are hidden by the people'

-actually secret is existed in the world, but it just hidden by us, by the people..

-i used a butterfly to cover the woman's mouth, tat's present there are something cannot

told or shown to anyone.And i chose this woman image is bcoz of her eyes~it gave me a

mystery feeling~and i add some flower and lighting effect.

1.Sunflower

I chose sunflower to be my first picture because of my nick name FAFA!~Fafa means flower la!~then why i chose sunflower leh? It is because sunflower is a symbol of cheerful and optimism....like me! hehe~

2.Mop

erm~i would like to thank my mum because she genetic me a bushy hair~~like a MOP! arghhh~

3.Tiger teeth

4.Mimosa(含羞草)

Mimosa is a sensitive plant. I'm a sensitive person too~很会察言观色~hehe~and I'm very easy to get shy with others who are not familiar to me~

Basically, i can sleep at everywhere~~especially in the car, bus, taxi~dunno why~~but i noe dis is a very bad habit...what if i've been brought to black market and sell me out??!!

6.LIZARD!!!!!

eh~~i dun wan to talk much about this!~you noe? LIZARD!!! arghhhh~~extremely hate it!

i even do not have the courage to google search it's picture! lolz...so i edit it~stay away from me!discusting freak!!!

7.Ugly Duckling

I have no confidence like a ugly duckling...

8.Kopi-OOOOO~

nothing special, im just loving it~Kopi-O~ whatever the brand is...as i noe, it can lose my weight, and make me no more constipation!~hehe...but not drinking too much la~

I'm a 100% Libra girl~ i like fair and i have a sence of justice ~

10.Pigeon~

pigeon symbolizes peace. ya, i hate quarrel~When friends have substandard, usually i would not be partial to any side...and I would be the peacemaker~ That's mean 'two head snake' la!~ haha
